Advanced Induction Heating Technology with Precision Temperature Control and Intelligent Integration for Modern Fiber Production Lines
In the rapidly evolving advanced materials sector, thermally controlled godet rollers have become a critical component in the production of carbon fiber, PTFE filament, and high-performance functional films. As processing standards continue to rise, manufacturers demand equipment that ensures both thermal stability and mechanical reliability under high-speed, high-temperature conditions.
Our electromagnetic heating godet rolls are engineered with integrated induction coil systems combined with dedicated control units, forming a highly efficient and responsive heating solution. This design significantly improves heat transfer efficiency while enabling precise temperature regulation throughout the production cycle.
Optimized Structural Configurations for Diverse Applications
To meet varying operational requirements, two primary structural configurations are available: fixed idle rollers and motor-driven rotating rollers. Among these, the driven rotary design has become the preferred solution in modern production environments due to its superior stability.
The fixed idle type operates without an independent drive system, offering a simplified structure. However, under high-speed drafting conditions, it may lead to inconsistent tension and increased filament breakage. In contrast, the motor-driven rotating godet roll ensures continuous and stable material transport, effectively reducing yarn stress and improving product yield during stretching processes.
Tailored Surface Treatments for Process-Specific Performance
Different stages of fiber and film production require customized surface properties to maintain optimal processing conditions. For high-strength carbon fiber and aramid fiber stretching, alloy steel rollers coated with tungsten carbide provide exceptional wear resistance and extended service life.
In post-curing and drying stages, a more economical solution is adopted using 45# steel substrates with precision hard chrome plating (0.1–0.15 mm thickness), ensuring durability while controlling production costs. Additionally, for rollers with an effective width of 400 mm, an extended buffer zone of 150 mm on both ends is incorporated to maintain temperature uniformity within ±1°C across the working surface.
Precision Thermal Engineering and Intelligent Control Systems
Designed for demanding industrial environments, the working temperature range of these godet rolls spans from 250°C to 400°C. A dedicated thermal compensation zone of approximately 300 mm is integrated into the roller body to offset heat loss from mechanical components such as bearings and end covers, ensuring consistent thermal distribution across the processing area.
The intelligent control system supports multiple industrial communication protocols, including ProfiNET, RS-485, and RS-232, allowing seamless integration with existing PLC systems. This enables real-time monitoring and data exchange for temperature, speed, and operational parameters.
To accommodate different drive configurations, the system is compatible with both standard motors and third-party drive units. Operators can easily configure motor parameters to achieve synchronized control of rotational speed and temperature, enhancing overall production efficiency and automation.![]()
