We were tasked with designing and delivering a complete recycling line specifically for processing end-of-life child car seats – a notoriously challenging product due to its mixed-material construction. The system we built doesn’t just crush or shred; it intelligently separates plastics, steel, and foam into clean fractions ready for reuse.

• The process begins with a twin-shaft shredder, which uses low-speed, high-torque technology to break down bulky seat shells and frames.
• Materials then move to a quad-shaft shredder for secondary refinement, creating a uniform feedstock that enables accurate downstream sorting.
• A powerful magnetic separator then removes ferrous metals with exceptional precision, ensuring that the recovered steel meets high-quality scrap standards.
• Throughout the line, multiple conveyors synchronize material flow, minimizing bottlenecks and maximizing throughput.

Durability was a key design priority. All cutting blades are made from heat-treated, hardened steel, allowing the system to run continuously under heavy loads with minimal maintenance interruptions.
