Huatao Grain and Oil Machinery has introduced its advanced starch washing hydrocyclone system for corn, potato, cassava, and wheat starch processing. The multi‑stage (6–12) counter‑current configuration removes over 95% of soluble and insoluble proteins and fine fibers, producing starch milk with protein content below 0.3% and whiteness meeting top food‑grade standards.

The system features a closed‑loop water design: only the final washing stage consumes fresh water, while all other process water is recirculated. This reduces overall water consumption by more than half compared to conventional systems. All contact parts are manufactured from food‑grade 304 stainless steel, ensuring hygiene, corrosion resistance, and long operational life.

Beyond the hydrocyclone station, Huatao supplies complete corn wet milling lines – from steeping and germ separation to fiber washing, starch dewatering, flash drying, and automatic packing. Key equipment includes tube bundle dryers, dewatering screw presses, single and double disc mills, impact mills (pin mills), filtration centrifuges, and starch washing systems.
