The thick hard chrome electroplated surface delivers exceptional abrasion resistance and outstanding heat transfer efficiency. This model is mounted immediately downstream of TDO stretching equipment, with a maximum allowable line speed of 600 m/min.
1.2 Anti-Stick Coated PRS Cooling Roll
Equipped with exclusive non-adhesive functional surface coating, this roller prevents hot, soft molten film from adhering to roll surfaces, fully eradicating surface sticking flaws on finished film products. It is installed on the intermediate traction area after primary cooling, supporting speeds up to 650 m/min.
1.3 Ozone Anti-Corrosion PRS Cooling Roll
Constructed with fully anti-corrosion stainless steel base material, this roller withstands oxidative damage from ozone produced during corona surface modification. Positioned right after corona treatment units, it safely runs at a maximum speed of 650 m/min.
2. Hidden Hazard: Ozone Corrosion on Conventional Cooling Rolls
⚡ Corona treatment relies on high-voltage electric discharge, which generates large volumes of strongly oxidative ozone gas.
For standard chrome-plated cooling rollers without anti-ozone protection:
Long-term ozone penetration damages surface coating layers
Coating blisters, bubbles and eventually peels off completely
Minor touch-up recoating cannot repair permanent base material damage
Once failure occurs, full roller replacement is mandatory, triggering unplanned line shutdowns and heavy production losses

End Assembly Parts: Forged high-strength low-carbon alloy steel flanges & solid shafts on both driving and operating sides, fixed with interference fit + full penetration welding
Precision Tolerance: Out-of-roundness ≤0.1 mm, cylindricity ≤0.1 mm
Dynamic Balance Standard: Grade G2.5, stable operation up to 630 m/min line speed
