Safety & Operation Precautions for Wall Saw Machine
1. Pre-operation Inspection before Startup
Check power supply: Confirm input voltage matches rated specification, no damaged cable insulation, fit leakage protection device; ensure smooth cooling water pipeline and sufficient water supply to avoid dry cutting of saw blade.
Fix guide rail and machine body: Level the guide rail and fasten it firmly onto concrete wall with expansion bolts; lubricate sliding blocks and guide wheels to eliminate jamming.
Inspect cutting consumables: Check saw blade for cracks or notches and ensure proper fit with flange; examine diamond wire for broken wires or excessive abrasion and avoid twisted wire layout.
Check working surroundings: Block off operation zone with warning barriers and keep all personnel away from the opposite wall side; build stable scaffolding for overhead cutting and confirm no hidden pipelines like water, gas inside cutting wall.
2. On-site Operation during Cutting
Feed the saw blade gradually: Never force rapid blade feeding. Use low speed to let blade bite into concrete first, then feed uniformly; slow down feeding speed when cutting dense rebar to prevent motor overload or stalling.
Continuous water cooling: Keep uninterrupted cooling water flowing at cutting slot to cool blade and wash away concrete dust; shut down immediately once water supply fails to prevent high-temperature blade cracking.
Emergency stop for abnormal conditions: Cut off power promptly if abnormal vibration, strange noise, sudden power trip, blade wobble or overheated motor occurs; never continue faulty operation.
Standard operator position: Stand beside blade’s rotating tangent instead of facing blade running direction; evacuate irrelevant workers out of cutting danger radius.
Slow down feed near cut-through: Reduce feeding pressure when wall is nearly cut through to prevent falling concrete chunks from causing injury or equipment damage.
3. Post-operation Shutdown & Maintenance
Lift saw blade out from workpiece first, run machine under no-load briefly before switching off motor, then turn off water source and cut off main power supply.
Clean concrete slurry and dust from machine and guide rail, fill lubricant for bearings and sliding parts; inspect saw blade abrasion and replace damaged consumables timely.
Dismantle in correct sequence: Remove machine unit first then unscrew expansion bolts to avoid unexpected falling debris from wall.
4. Important Prohibitions
Forbid outdoor live cutting on rainy or humid days.
Do not repeatedly restart machine under frequent overload or stalling status.
Never refit inverter parameters arbitrarily or use non-standard mismatched saw blades.
