Working Principle

The slurry is fed into the cyclone tangentially under pressure, generating a high-speed rotating flow inside the cyclone body. Under centrifugal force:

  • Coarse and heavy particles move toward the outer wall and discharge from the underflow outlet.
  • Fine and light particles move upward through the vortex finder and exit from the overflow outlet.
