The Polyurethane Impact Sieve Plate with Metal Base is specifically engineered for the most punishing stage of mineral processing: primary scalping. In this stage, the screen is subjected to the direct impact of massive, sharp-edged rocks as they are discharged from primary crushers or feeders. To survive these conditions, the sieve plate features a specially formulated, high-impact polyurethane surface bonded to a heavy-duty metal base or an extra-thick high-tensile steel frame. This combination allows the panel to absorb the kinetic energy of falling materials without fracturing or deforming, while the metal base provides the structural rigidity needed to span large screen decks.

The performance of these impact plates is unrivaled in the industry, offering a service life 3 to 8 times longer than traditional manganese steel or heavy-duty rubber liners. This longevity is critical because replacing primary scalping screens is a labor-intensive and expensive process. We offer these plates in substantial thicknesses, such as 45mm or 50mm, to provide an extra "wear cushion" against abrasion. The apertures are typically larger for scalping tasks but can be customized with tapered holes to prevent material from getting wedged (anti-plugging). Standard widths like 500mm or 515mm and lengths up to 1220mm allow these plates to be used in most heavy-duty vibrating grizzlies and scalpers.
