Product Overview

The Polyurethane Relaxation Screen Mesh (often referred to as a Flip-Flow or Flip-Flop mat) is a high-performance screening media designed for the non-blinding sifting of damp or sticky materials. This product leverages the high elasticity of MDI polyurethane to create an active, pulsating screening surface. As the vibrating machine operates, the mats alternately tension and relax, which creates a high-acceleration environment that "kicks" the material off the surface and prevents it from sticking to the apertures. This makes it an essential tool for processing damp sticky coal, ores, and recycled aggregates.

Structurally, these relaxation meshes are designed to be durable yet flexible, often provided as one-piece molded panels to eliminate weak points. While some designs incorporate a high tensile embedded steel frame for mounting, the screening surface itself is pure, high-rebound polyurethane. The wear-resistant urethane is engineered to provide a service life 3 to 8 times longer than steel meshes in similar conditions. We provide these mats in various thicknesses (30mm, 45mm, or 50mm) and customized slot openings (0.1–2.5mm width) to match specific throughput requirements. By drastically reducing the need for manual cleaning and increasing the uptime of the screen deck, the polyurethane relaxation mesh provides a significant boost to the efficiency and productivity of mineral and waste processing plants.
