Product Overview

The Polyurethane Impact Screen Panel with Steel Frame Core is the ultimate "heavy-duty" solution for primary screening stages where the equipment is subjected to heavy loading and extreme impact. In the primary scalping of large-run-of-mine (ROM) ore or heavy aggregates, standard screen media would quickly fracture. Our impact panels are manufactured from a specially formulated, high-durometer polyurethane that acts as a shock absorber. This elastic surface is bonded to a heavy-duty high tensile steel frame core, which provides the unbreakable structural rigidity required to support tons of falling rock without the panel collapsing into the vibrating deck.

Technical specifications for these impact panels include substantial thickness choices of 45mm and 50mm, providing a deep "wear cushion" that resists gouging and abrasion. The internal steel frame ensures that the panel remains perfectly flat and secure, even under the most punishing G-forces. Compared to traditional manganese steel grizzly bars, our polyurethane impact panels offer a service life that is 3 to 8 times longer, while also providing a significant reduction in operational noise and vibration transfer to the machine frame. The apertures are often designed with tapered holes to prevent the "wedging" of sharp rocks. Standard widths like 500mm and 515mm and lengths up to 1220mm allow these panels to be used in most heavy-duty scalpers and primary crushers. By using these steel-core polyurethane panels, operators can protect their core assets and achieve a much lower maintenance cost per ton of material processed.
