Product Overview

The Polyurethane Tension Screen Mesh with Side Hook Strips is a high-capacity screening medium specifically designed for linear shakers and side-tensioned vibrating machines. Unlike modular panels, these screens are designed to be tensioned across the machine frame using reinforced side hooks. To prevent the screen from stretching or tearing under the high tension required for linear motion, each mesh is built around a high tensile embedded steel wire core or reinforced polymeric cords. The specially formulated polyurethane surface provides a thick, wear-resistant layer that protects the internal reinforcement from the abrasive impact of the processed material.

Technically, these tensioned meshes excel in both wet and dry screening applications, offering a wear resistance 3 to 8 times better than traditional metal wire cloth. They are particularly effective for dewatering and fine sizing, with slot openings as narrow as 0.1mm to 2.5mm. The side hook strips are reinforced with either metal or high-strength PU to ensure a secure and leak-proof fit against the shaker’s tensioning bars. Available in standard widths such as 305mm and 500mm, and lengths up to 1220mm, these screens are a reliable choice for high-volume aggregate plants and mining recovery circuits. By combining the capacity of a tensioned deck with the extreme durability and low-noise characteristics of polyurethane, these meshes provide a superior screening solution that maximizes uptime and sizing efficiency in the most demanding industrial environments.
