Product Overview

The MDS 1224 series linear motion dewatering screen is a specialized single-deck unit designed to process fine aggregates prior to stockpiling. With a standard deck size of 1200mm x 2400mm, this equipment is engineered to handle a maximum feed size of 10mm (3/8”), typically accepting a slurry of sand and water. The screen utilizes high-quality polyurethane media ranging from #10 to #60 mesh, ensuring that the final product reaches an optimal moisture content between 8% and 15% by weight. Powered by dual high-frequency vibrating motors (2x2.88 kW at 50Hz), the MDS 1224 generates high G-forces that accelerate solids upward and forward while driving water through the particle gaps. To maximize the working life of the machine, the system includes replaceable polyurethane side wall protection, which minimizes abrasive material contact with the steel frame. The modular polyurethane non-bolted panels come as standard, allowing for easy maintenance and rapid replacement of worn sections. This robust design not only improves product quality by reducing moisture but also assists facilities in complying with environmental regulations by minimizing water loss.
