This WEEE sorting equipment specifically targets aluminum foil and metal inserts found in ABS and HIPS regrind from television housings and computer monitors. The eddy current separator operates with a rotor speed range of 2000 to 4800 RPM generating a high-frequency field that repels non-ferrous metals from plastic particles as small as 2 mm. The working width of 800 mm processes 2 to 4 tons per hour of plastic regrind with a moisture content below 5 percent. A 3 kW motor drives the system using 415V 50Hz three-phase power. The belt is a 6 mm thick anti-static polyurethane type with a smooth surface that prevents plastic granules from sticking. The magnetic rotor is fully sealed in a stainless steel cylinder with IP55 rating protecting it from fine dust and airborne particles. The frame is painted in industrial gray with a textured finish that hides scratches from daily operation.
