Product Description:

This industrial eddy current separator removes non-ferrous metals from shredded small appliance residue including coffee machines toasters fans and power tools. The unit uses a high-speed magnetic rotor with an eccentric design that generates a powerful alternating field extending 50 mm above the belt surface. Rotor speed is adjustable from 1200 to 5000 RPM via a variable frequency drive with digital readout. The belt width of 1200 mm processes 5 to 12 tons per hour of mixed material with particle sizes from 5 mm to 40 mm. A 7.5 kW motor provides the necessary torque for heavy-duty continuous operation. The belt material is 8 mm thick heavy-duty rubber with a chevron profile and anti-static properties. The frame is constructed from 6 mm steel plate with a reinforced base finished in RAL 5005 blue powder coating. A pneumatic splitter baffle system allows remote adjustment of the separation cut point from a control room. The feed section includes a magnetic drum pre-separator to remove ferrous metals before material reaches the eddy current rotor. This two-step configuration is standard in European WEEE recycling facilities.
