Non Woven Geotextile Description
HUATAO Nonwoven geotextile is water permeable made of 100% polypropylene continuous filament fibers. It is designed with a combination of a high initial modulus and a high elongation, providing resistance to damage during and after installation.
This geotextile is a reliable solution for a broad array of engineering structures and installations, fulfilling separation and filtration functions. With high strength and equal vertical/horizontal strength, it's widely used in roads, highways, high-speed rail, water conservancy projects (dams, levees), and environmental protection applications.
Properties - PP Continuous Filament Nonwoven Geotextile
- Polypropylene's low density provides greater coverage compared to polyester geotextiles of the same strength.
- Excellent acid and alkali resistance, with superior alkali resistance compared to polyester materials, making it ideal for strong acid/alkali soil conditions.
- Hydrophobic properties and non-absorbent nature make it superior to polyester for water supply and drainage projects.
- Low surface friction coefficient provides excellent wear resistance and anti-vibration friction performance.

Non Woven Geotextile Applications
1. Traffic: Suitable for road, railway roadbed reinforcement, protection, isolation, filtration, drainage, high-speed rail sliding layers, airport and harbor reinforcement protection.
2. Water Conservancy: Ideal for reservoir dams, river and lake seawalls, and can be combined with geomembranes to prevent water infiltration.
3. Environment Protection: Excellent for alkaline conditions in metal processing tailings dams, landfills, special landfills, fly ash landfills, ash dam pools, and heap leaching fields.
