Product Description:

Recyclers processing lithium-ion battery casings will benefit from this eddy current separator which recovers aluminum and copper current collector tabs from shredded empty battery shells. The machine features an eccentric magnetic rotor made from neodymium iron boron magnets capable of producing an alternating field with 4500 gauss peak intensity. Rotor speed ranges from 1500 to 5200 RPM controlled through an intuitive touchscreen interface. The belt is 600 mm wide and constructed from 5 mm anti-static polyurethane with a mild surface texture. A 2.2 kW drive motor powers the system requiring 220V 60Hz three-phase power for North American installations. The frame is built from 4 mm stainless steel sheet finished with a brushed satin surface that resists corrosion from residual electrolyte. A manual splitter baffle with locking mechanism allows operators to set the separation cut point with 1 mm precision. The feed chute includes an adjustable slide gate to control material flow rate.
