Product Description:

This eddy current separator features a unique dual-belt design that increases separation efficiency for materials with high dust content. A primary belt transports material through the magnetic field while a secondary cleaning belt removes fine particles from the rotor housing. Rotor speed is adjustable from 2000 to 5000 RPM via a VFD with dust-resistant membrane keypad. The working width of 1000 mm processes 4 to 8 tons per hour of dusty e-waste shredder residue with particle sizes from 2 mm to 25 mm. A 5.5 kW motor drives the system with an IP55 rating for dust protection. The main belt is 7 mm thick anti-static rubber while the cleaning belt is 3 mm polyurethane. The frame is constructed from 6 mm steel plate with a RAL 5015 sky blue powder coating. An automatic splitter baffle adjusts position based on material composition detected by a metal sensor. The magnetic rotor is cooled by forced air from a 50 watt fan that runs continuously during operation. This machine is ideal for processing WEEE from small appliances which often contains high levels of dust and fine particles.
