Product Description

Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL) is an innovative geosynthetic material composed of graded natural sodium bentonite particles and admixtures uniformly mixed. Using specialized technology, the bentonite is securely fixed between two layers of geotextile to create a waterproofing blanket that combines the benefits of geotextile materials with exceptional waterproof performance.

The waterproofing mechanism works through bentonite's unique swelling properties when exposed to water, forming a uniform colloidal system. The geotextile layers constrain the bentonite, directing its expansion in an orderly manner. Continuous water absorption creates a compacted bentonite layer with superior waterproofing capabilities.
