Inversion Drum is special used for CIPP process,Inversion drum has a large control wheel for better control during the installation. Made for cold and hot curing, with both steam and hot water as well as UV curing.
How does it work?
The process relies on the "inversion" (turning inside out) principle:
1) Preparation: The flexible liner, which has been thoroughly soaked in structural resin (such as polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy), is pulled and clamped onto the drum in a reversed (inside-out) position.
2) Insertion: One end of the liner is secured to the entry point of the old pipe. Water or air pressure is then applied inside the liner.
3) Inversion: As pressure builds, the liner begins to turn inside out—peeling off the drum and pushing itself forward into the host pipe. The drum rotates smoothly to feed the liner without twisting or damaging it.
4) Lining: The pressure forces the new liner to press tightly against the inner walls of the old pipe, conforming perfectly to its shape (including bends and non-circular sections).
