Cooling medium running inside the roller can be industrial water or thermal conductive oil. These two structural layouts differ drastically in internal layout and fabrication workflows, which creates prominent gaps in overall production expenditure.
1. Single-circuit Expanded Thermal Roller Inner Structure This type of cooling heat transfer roller consists of an outer cylinder, inner liner and spiral baffles mounted on the inner shell. Cooling water or thermal oil flows through connecting pipelines into the single-channel internal circulation cavity, flowing across the opposite side wall to continuously absorb excess heat and fulfill the cooling requirement.
2. Dual-circuit Double-layer Heat Transfer Roller Inner Structure This cooling roller also includes outer casing, inner barrel and built-in spiral baffles, yet it applies a distinct double-layer dual-channel circulation system paired with an aluminum alloy circulation structure. Liquid medium such as water or thermal oil enters the heat exchange channels via inlet pipelines for two-way circulation. It delivers superior heat exchange efficiency, but involves intricate machining procedures and comes with higher manufacturing costs.
