Thermal transfer rollers available on the market are split into two core internal frameworks: double-layer single-pass and double-layer dual-pass structures. The circulating medium sealed inside is either circulating water or heat conduction oil. The two structures adopt separate internal layouts and distinct production techniques, directly leading to obvious cost disparities.
1. Internal Layout of Single-pass Expanded Heat Transfer Roller This cooling roller assembly is made up of outer jacket, inner tube and spiral partition plates fixed to the inner tube. Water or thermal oil is pumped through inlet pipes into the independent single flow channel, flowing all the way to the far side wall to absorb heat and complete the cooling cycle.
2. Internal Layout of Double-layer Dual-pass Heat Conduction Roller Identical to the single-pass model in basic components (outer shell, inner shell and spiral baffles), this roller utilizes a unique double-layer dual-flow circulation setup with aluminum alloy circulation components. Water and thermal oil flow through pipe fittings into dual heat exchange channels for bidirectional circulation. It boasts outstanding heat exchange performance, yet complicated processing steps push up its total production cost.
